Lee dies in his last attempt to become Strigio again. Keith's Moroi tattooing business is stopped. Jill, Eddie, Sydney and Adrian survive the attack by the Strigio. The book ends with Sonya and Dimitri showing up to try to figure out why Lee was unable to return to being Strigio.
